About Kitchen Of Kent


Russell’s culinary career has stretched for over 25 years. Starting as a teenage pot wash in Devon he worked his way up, training in several Rosette awarded restaurants across the South West.


Moving to the South East as a young man, Russell quickly progressed to Head Chef at a busy gastro pub. After holding the position for 8 successful years, and keen to extend his knowledge, Russell left to spend several years working across London and the South East for leading chefs within the event sector.

Alongside this, Russell was also able to secure his own catering contracts for the BBC and the London Symphony Orchestra.

In February 2015 Russell founded Kitchen of Kent with this wife, Sarah, with the view to building an event catering business that offered more than just catering and was committed to promoting and supporting local suppliers.


In 9 years, Kitchen of Kent has now catered over 1000 events. They have been a finalist at the Kent Wedding Awards, are the recommended supplier at the Kent Event Centre, have contracts with Sky TV, have catered an A List Movie premiere and regularly cater Galas, banquets and dinners for up to 1000 guests.

This experience, along with Russell’s continued passion and commitment to food, ensures your event will not only have skilful, outstanding catering but run smoothly.
